Last changes before the beta!

Good morning people!

How's it going?
I bring you many changes in the DevLog this morning (yes, one day I have a vacation and I forget to remove the alarm from my mobile ... So here I am).

But enough talk, let's start with the changes, today the game finally gets entertaining!

To start with the visual effects, the postproduction effect has been added to all the scenes of the game.
A small change but that is too good not to do.

I've also created a small shake effect when you take damage to give the game some animation.

Sorry for the quality of the gif, but the file size that can be uploaded in Itch.io did not allow me to upload it better...

A fade effect has also been added between the different scenes so that the change between them is not so gross.

As you can see in the previous gif, yes, new options have been added in the main menu!

The first one is the HellMode.
This option is disabled at the moment, but the idea is (I think I have already talked about it once but I'm not sure) to make a version of the game where you only have one life and the traps have not advice marks, you have to watch by yourself when they are activated.
For example, looking at the arrow prepared on the wall, the saws...

As I said, that is disabled for now and I hope to upload it soon, but I prefer to finish the game before and then add the extras.

The second option is the High Score.

Yes, a point system has been added to the game, for which we have to collect the coins that spawn during the game.
It prevents the player from staying half an hour in the same position without touching any trap and getting points.

These coins always appear at a predetermined distance from the current position of the player to avoid making it too easy to catch them.

Ah, have I already told you that the coins disappear within two seconds if you have not taken them? You are going to need to be fast if you want a good score!

This has led me to add a couple of new fields in the player interface.

Finally, the death scene has been added.

For now, that is all.

In the end, I got off that early morning.

My idea was to fix the description of the game on itch.io now, so I will surely do that and then I will see what music I put on and I will code the difficulty increase as you progress through the game.

Once that is done, I will upload the beta!

Thank you for staying here after all DevLog!
